HP sorts its Intel EliteBooks in two different series: The EliteBooks of the 1000 series cover the premium segment, while the EliteBook 800 are meant for the mainstream business market. This tiering in classes exists for regular EliteBooks as well as the x360 convertibles. For example, we reviewed the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3 with a SureView display a short while ago. Now, the review of the more affordable HP EliteBook x360 830 G6 follows.
Our review sample is a special model, as it is equipped with a "SureView" LCD. Together with the other specifications (i7, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD), it is obvious that this is a high-end configuration. It costs around £2,100 (~$2745) in Britain.
